My tattoo artist recommended tktx numbing cream due to getting a large piece on the ribs. I was reluctant to use it because I genuinely thought it would be placebo, pain was all mental, etc etc.
I was wrong. This stuff is incredible. It felt like she was just drawing on me with a pen. I would recommend it to anybody getting a rough area done, or if your pain tolerance is lower.
I had it applied for around 2 hours before the start of the session (the area will be very red, don’t freak out, it’s normal), and it lasted around 2.5hrs even while she was wiping the area consistently. The tattoo is very complicated so she was doing it in sections to ensure the other sections stayed numb due to her not wiping it.

I applied it 40 minutes before waxing my underarms and it really helped reduce the pain. Very effective and gentle on the skin. I’ll definitely use it again!Worked Great Before Waxing!
I absolutely love this cream. I follow the full instructions go 50 min with plastic and then rub into skin after and sit for another 10 mins and I’m good as numb. I use it often cause I have to give myself shots. So this helps me get thru it!
I applied it to my face, waited for about 30 minutes, washed it off, poked at my face with my fingers to make sure it was numb, and then proceeded to microneedle. I felt little pain with the shorter needles
I took a large amount and layered it in like a cake then wrapped with clear wrap, waited an hour, took it off, wiped with a paper towel until dry, did another layer for about 30 minutes- wore to my appointment then cleaned in my car before walking inside.

Doesn't matter if it's a big piece or just some microblading, the numbing works great. Just slap it on where you need it, and honestly, you can pretty much sit back and relax during the session. This numbing cream exceeded my expectations! I applied it to my arm and wrapped it completely in plastic for 1 hour before my tattoo session, and the results were incredible. I use TF out of this stuff. Applied to my knee and didn't feel a 2 hour tattoo. Did the same on my back and didn't feel anything for 3 hours on the areas that I applied it to. You need to put A LOT if on, make sure it's super thick, then wrap it tightly. Leave it on for 1-3 hours prior to the tattoo and you won't feel a thing.
i was really scared this wouldnt work but i got it for my stomach tattoo. i felt NOTHING! it works wonders. it stayed numb for over 3 hours which was good for me.
Ithis numbing cream is a savior to some people. Not everyone can withstand the pain it takes to get the tattoo so I personally offer it at my studio and I’m able to pull off amazing pieces with it. Usually last about 3-4 hours with no problem just make sure to put it on thick and wrap for an hour. Also do not use any alchohol it will take away the numbing faster.
I’ve tried many numbing creams and gels for getting tattooed and this product worked 100% of the time. I applied it 30 minutes before heading to the shop and was on the table getting work done on me after about an hour and fifteen-ish minutes after application. My skin stayed numb for four hours. It may have even been longer but we decided that four hours of work on my back was enough for that day. I back this product 100%!
